The Linda Vista Community Development Corporation (LVCDC) is a nonprofit corporation committed to improving the economic vitality and cultural quality of Linda Vista through housing, commercial, and community projects that organize and empower residents, property owners, and business owners to participate in economic and community develop opportunities.
Recently, the LVCDC re-dedicated one of the first planned shopping centers in the United States dedicated by the first lady, Eleanor Roosevelt.

Community Relation
The LVCDC will strive towards a leadership role in the community by developing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with community members, governmental, nongovernmental agencies, and institutions serving Linda Vista.
Commercial Development
The LVCDC will promote and improve the local business environment by sponsoring commercial development, improving existing commercial sties, and marketing the area to diverse business interests able to serve the residents.
Public Facilities & Services
The LVCDC will work to improve existing infrastructure and create new facilities and services that serve the residential and business needs of Linda Vista.
Housing
The LVCDC will improve the quality of housing in Linda Vista by sponsoring the development or rehabilitation of single-family, multiple-unit, and mixed-use projects, which adhere to the development policies, adopted by the corporation.
